Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our finance team as Officer – Bank Reconciliations and Charges. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of all bank accounts, and managing all related financial transactions in line with company policy.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily and monthly bank account reconciliations
Identify and promptly resolve reconciliation discrepancies
Report and escalate irregular entries found in bank statements and general ledger
Liaise between customers and banks for deposit confirmations
Identify unknown deposits and take appropriate action in accordance with policy
Detect payments not captured on NAV and advise appropriately
Post bank charges in a timely manner
Verify and recover excess bank charges as necessary

Qualifications and Experience

HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role

Knowledge & Skills

Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills
Good understanding of accounting policies, standards, and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
Knowledge of financial regulations and banking operations
