Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Entrepreneur Strategic Teacher to join our after-school program team. The ideal candidate is committed to student-centered learning, skilled in entrepreneurship education, and eager to make a lasting impact on young lives. This role is central to guiding students in developing practical life and business skills, supporting instructional staff, and ensuring the program runs smoothly and effectively.
This position reports to the Head of After-School.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of After-School to review the entrepreneurship curriculum and develop engaging lesson plans.
- Train and mentor teachers to improve their delivery of entrepreneurship content.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the entrepreneurship segment of the after-school program.
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
- Monitor and report on student progress, program outcomes, and classroom engagement.
- Foster strong communication between students, parents, and mentors to support student development.
- Ensure proper maintenance and use of after-school facilities in alignment with operational standards.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, training sessions, and entrepreneurship-focused workshops for both students and staff.
- Provide weekly progress updates to the Head of After-School.
- Support other related tasks and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching entrepreneurship or business development to children.
- Strong background in designing and implementing instructional materials.
- Demonstrated success in leading interactive, student-centered classrooms.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Passionate about youth development and community impact.
